Sweet Caroline has been refusing her naps this week, so I didn't expect today to be any different... This morning, around 10:30, we put her in her crib because she kept rubbing her eyes and acting like she was sleepy. She cried off and on until about 11:30, when Daddy went and got her. (There was a 20-25 minute "quiet" period in there, when she must have taken some semblance of a nap). Later that day, she began to act very fussy, cranky, and "sensitive," throwing a fit every time she didn't get her way. So, Mommy put her in her crib around 3:05, hoping that she would FINALLY take a good nap! Can you believe that she cried off and on for almost 45 minutes, until Daddy went and rescued her from her crib for the 2nd time that day?! (Big sigh). Caroline clung to Daddy and smiled happily when Mommy gave her a bottle... Less than 10 minutes later, she was "out like a light," as Daddy put it, sleeping soundly in her Daddy's arms for about 30 minutes. (Another short nap, granted, but at least it was some kind of a nap). I don't know why this little girl won't sleep! ;-)
