Yesterday, Caroline asked me to choose between two books. "Mommy," she said, "which book do you want? The Sloth one or the Spider one?" I chose the one I honestly preferred, the Sloth one. Caroline was quick to respond with, "Mommy, do you want the Spider one?" Hmmm... I guess I hadn't responded the way she had wanted me to?? :) So, I changed my answer to "the Spider one," which made her very happy!
"Mommy, you have the Spider one and I have the Sloth one."
All was well in Caroline's world... ;-)
