Not to be outdone by her big sister, Kimberly, aka "Chunky Monkey," has also been up to a lot lately! ;-) This past Saturday (the 19th) Mommy switched her from Size 1 to Size 2 diapers... (those 1's were getting just a little too snug...). The next day, sweet Kimberly clucked her tongue for the first time while looking at Mommy and later reached for one of her car seat toys. :) She has been smiling and cooing more and more this week, much to Mommy's delight!And even BIGGER news... sleeping through the night!!
Many of you are aware of the struggle Ashley and I had with getting Caroline to sleep through the night... (she didn't really do so until after she turned a year old)... Not wanting to be this sleep deprived ever again, I continually prayed for our next child to be a better sleeper throughout my pregnancy with Kimberly... Well, it seems like God has answered "yes" to my prayers! :) From day one, Kimmy has proven to be a much better sleeper than her older sis, but this week has been the best yet, in terms of sleep. On Monday night, she slept from 9-4 and woke up only once. On Wednesday night, she slept from 10-4 before waking up once. And last night, she slept from 9-2 before waking up for the first time; she woke up a second time around 3 0r 4 AM because she was gassy. Not bad, huh? :0)
